2011 - A Review

January - Brad surprised David and me with a big Disney vacation for Christmas 2010.  We started out the new year spending 6 days at the Disney Parks and Sea World.  It was definitely a magical vacation.  

And....I flew to Denver to visit my childhood best friend, Angie.  We had a great time and she took me skiing.  I was terrible, but didn't get hurt.  BONUS!

February - We went hiking at Tannehill.

March - For Spring Break we went to Mobile and New Orleans.  We toured the USS Alabama, went to Fort Gaines and the beach, went to a NBA game (Denver Nuggets vs. New Orleans Hornets), and visited the New Orleans Zoo and a few other places and ate beignets.  :)

Oh, and I was in Allison's wedding!  But I have no pictures to prove this.  I did blog about it though.

April - We were invited to spend Easter with some friends and their family at the Birmingham Zoo.   David and John Taylor rode a camel too.  

May - The 5/6 year old Giants were season champs!  Brad was head coach and David played second base.

June - we went hiking with some friends and found a river to swim in.  

July - My bff, Cara, followed David's All Star team all over central Alabama to support him and hang with me.  Brad was head coach and David played first base.  

August - David played football on the K/1 team.  Brad was head coach and David was quarterback.  These boys below are his best little buddies.  

September - David turned SEVEN.  And we had a joint birthday party with his friend, Ethan.  

October - Girls Night Out at Monica's.  Much fun was had by all.  And many snacks were consumed, including Gigi's cupcakes.  

November - We spent Thanksgiving with some sweet friends and their families.  Coach Wade pulled David's loose tooth out.  Walker lost his tooth the same day.

December - David's big Christmas present this year was a hunting rifle.  We look forward to teaching him how to use it in the next year and then going hunting in late 2012.  

2011 has been a wonderful year.  Full of new friends, fun trips and photography.  :)
